We are pleased to announce that Walter Cummings, CPA has joined United Southern Bank as our Comptroller.

Walter has been a member of the Board of Directors at United Southern Bank since 2018 and will remain on our board.

Walter earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with an Accounting Major from Austin Peay State University. Since 2006, Walter served as the Christian County Treasurer where he was responsible for all the functions of the County Government finances, payroll preparation for 140 employees, presentation of financial statements and annual audit. Walter has over 25 years of accounting experience.

Walter is married to Cindy. They have adult sons and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren. He is a lifelong resident of Christian County and is involved in the community in various volunteer roles and enjoys giving back to the community.
